Design Bars

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your total booking. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to your scheduled date.

· Cancellations received at least 10 days before the scheduled date are eligible for a refund minus the deposit. 

· Payments made within 10 days of the scheduled date are non-refundable, as preparation and materials are already underway.

· Once preparation begins, the booking is considered in progress.

Need to reschedule? 

Payments may be applied to a new date within 60 days of the original booking date. Additional fees may apply.

Design Bar Project of the Month

This service is billed on a monthly basis and is non-refundable once materials have been delivered or refreshed for that billing period.

Cancellations may be made with written notice prior to the next billing cycle.

To ensure a seamless and beautifully styled experience, all Design Bar events have a minimum investment of $499.

We bring Design Bar experiences to celebrations and milestones, hotel guest experiences, team and social gatherings, as well as other settings by request.

Each Design Bar includes curated creative stations, all necessary materials, and thoughtful on-site styling. We handle full setup and breakdown so the experience feels seamless and easy for the host, and Design Bars are presented using a cohesive collection of neutral, elevated containers and materials designed to complement a wide range of spaces.

Light photo or video content may be captured for Cheeky Palette marketing purposes.

Custom enhancements may be added based on your event needs.

Tables or flat surfaces for the Design Bar are provided by the host. One 6–8 ft table is typically sufficient, depending on the selected Design Bar. Additional furniture or event rentals are not included. Table coverings or protective surface materials are not included unless otherwise specified.

All creative materials, setup, and cleanup related to the Design Bar are provided by Cheeky Palette.

A designated area for the Design Bar is required, including access to tables or flat surfaces for guests to complete their work. Design Bar materials and tools are provided. Design Bar experiences are typically facilitated and provide on-site support with gentle guidance. Self-guided options are also available, featuring clear visual prompts and elegantly styled examples. For select experiences with additional steps or materials, facilitation is recommended to maintain an effortless, high-end guest experience.

Most Design Bars run 90 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the scope selected. Timing is flexible and tailored to the experience and level of customization.

We begin and end on time. Setup typically takes 45-60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, with cleanup completed 20–40 minutes afterward.

Design Bars are designed for all ages and experience levels. 

No prior art experience is needed—guests are free to participate at their own pace.

Design Bar Project of the Month is an ongoing, self-guided creative experience for shared spaces. It includes a fully stocked Design Bar with a rotating creative project available throughout the month.

Refills and refresh options are available as needed to support shared use.

Most Design Bar setups do not require power. Any special requirements will be discussed during planning.

Yes. Design Bar experiences are available for off-site locations. Travel fees may apply based on distance and scope.

Travel fees may apply for Design Bar bookings beyond our local area. Any applicable travel costs will be included in your quote.

Yes. Additional time is available upon request at $50 per 30 minutes and must be confirmed in advance of the scheduled end time.

Design Bar experiences are created to scale across a range of group sizes. Group size and materials are tailored to your event and reflected in your quote.

Late drop-ins may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability, and may require an additional fee. Requests must be confirmed within 24 hours of your scheduled date.

Additional materials may be available, subject to inventory and scope.

Yes. Additional stations can be added, with materials and scope customized to your group size and booking details. To ensure a seamless, high-end experience, sufficient notice is required for sourcing and preparing all materials.

Design Bar experiences may be customized in several ways, including creative medium selection, number of stations, duration, and overall layout.

Yes. Recurring Design Bar bookings are available upon request.

No. Design Bars are created to be approachable and enjoyable for all experience levels—no art background required.

Guests are welcome to participate in their event attire. Aprons are provided for select stations, and materials are thoughtfully chosen to minimize mess; however, guests are responsible for their own clothing.
